Lorraine Belcher Chamberlain Wilson had a mini stroke recently and is recovering.
Lorraine is the coolest gal ever. I first heard about her when San Francisco friends would call her "Big Lorraine". Little did I know that what was big about Lorraine was her blue eyes, tatas, blonde hair, wit, talent and PERSONALITY . . . she was Frank Zappa's muse for years (she nicknamed him Lumpy Gravy), she was friends with Nureyev, she was married to John Chamberlain the 'crushed car' sculptor, she owned a Warhol and WAS a Warhol scenester, was a glamour gal at Max's Kansas City and has juicy stories about those times too. John Lee Hooker even had a big ol' crush on her.
Lorraine is one of the funniest and kindest people I know but she'll cut anyone down to size who needs it!
